Triveni is the sacred confluence where three rivers merge into one. In the yogic tradition it is the meeting of ida and pingala — moon and sun, the two currents of breath — dissolving into sushumna, the central channel of the Heart. It is also the image of our lineage: three great streams of grace flowing together at the foot of Arunachala. Triveni est la confluence sacrée où trois rivières se fondent en une seule. Dans la tradition yogique, c'est la rencontre d'ida et de pingala — la lune et le soleil, les deux courants du souffle — qui se dissolvent dans sushumna, le canal central du Cœur. It is not a retreat centre with programmes and timetables, but a household of practice — a place where daily life itself, cooking, cleaning, chanting, sitting in silence, becomes the path.
